  • Mental illness
  • Neurological disorders

  • Challenging behaviors
  • Personal and family relationship problems

ADHD - Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

ADHD often begins in childhood and can persist into adulthood. It may contribute to low self-esteem, troubled relationships, and difficulty at school or work. Symptoms include limited attention and hyperactivity. Treatments include medication and Psychological counseling.

Counseling for ADHD generally includes psychological counseling (psychotherapy), education about the disorder, and learning skills to help you be successful.

Psychotherapy may help you:

  • Improve your time management and organizational skills.
  • Learn how to reduce your impulsive behavior.
  • Develop better problem-solving skills.
  • Cope with past academic, work, or social failures.
  • Improve your self-esteem.
  • Learn ways to improve relationships with your family, co-workers, and friends.
  • Develop strategies for controlling your temper.

Stress management therapy

Stress management programs are designed to help people cope with stress more effectively by analyzing specific stressors and taking positive actions to minimize their effects.

This includes making coordinated plans to address problems and eliminate stressors. Psychotherapy is a common method for most emotional problems related to stress. Therapy can help you look into deeper life issues that may be causing your stress, such as anxiety from toxic relationships, negative self-talks, and unresolved conflicts.

Anger management therapy

The goal of anger management is to control both the emotions and physiological arousals that cause anger. You can't get rid of, avoid, or change the things and people that make you angry, but you can learn how to control your reactions and techniques to vent your anger in more beneficial ways.

Dealing with Anxiety Disorders:

Treatment for anxiety disorders includes psychotherapy to reduce anxiety symptoms. It includes learning about anxiety, mindfulness, relaxation techniques, proper breathing techniques, dietary changes, exercise, assertiveness learning, self-esteem building, cognitive therapy, exposure therapy, and structured problem-solving.

Depression is a mood disorder that causes persistent sadness and loss of interest. It affects emotions, thoughts, and behaviors and can lead to a variety of emotional and physical problems.

The goal of psychotherapy is to promote positive change in individuals seeking better emotional and/or social functioning in order to improve their quality of life and overall well-being. Psychotherapy can help you:

  • Adapt to crisis or other current challenges
  • Identify negative beliefs and behaviors and replace them with healthy, positive ones
  • Explore relationships and experiences and foster positive interactions with others
  • Find better ways to deal with and solve problems
  • Identify the problem that causes depression and change the behavior that makes it worse
  • Helps regain satisfaction and control of life and alleviate symptoms of depression such as hopelessness and anger
  • Develop the ability to withstand and accept stress through healthier behaviors

Grief Counseling

Grief Counseling is often recommended for people who are personally struggling to cope with significant loss. Grief/Bereavement counseling facilitates the expression of feelings and thoughts about loss, including sadness, fear, anger, loneliness, guilt, relief, isolation, confusion, and numbness.

Bereavement counseling facilitates the process of coping with and accepting the loss experienced through the natural progression of emotions that accompany the various stages of coping. Grief counseling sessions also include segments designed to help individuals strengthen their personal and social resources to better cope with grief.

Behavioral therapy

Behavioral therapy focuses on how thoughts and beliefs influence behavior and mood. It often focuses on current problems and how to solve them.

This form of treatment aims to identify and change potentially self-destructive or unhealthy behaviors.

This type of therapy benefits both adults and children.

We provide behavioral therapy for:

  • Depression
  • Fear
  • Panic disorder
  • Disorders with excessive anger
  • Post-traumatic stress disorder
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Phobias, including social phobias
  • Self-harm
  • Substance use disorders

Phobias are treatable mental illnesses. Once treatment is initiated, phobias are likely to decline and generally have no long-term effects. You can benefit greatly from treatment. Many therapeutic approaches, such as CBT and NLP, are effective ways of treating phobias, slowly exposing the person to the fear and addressing underlying beliefs that may be causing the phobia to increase. We teach effective coping strategies to avoid escalating anxiety reactions

Clients Testimonials

Namratha has been an excellent life coach and helped me through my self development journey over the last 4 months. I have learned more from her over that short time span than I did in several years with my previous life coaches. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is trying to better understand themselves and achieve their full potential.

-Jason Taylor

Namratha is amazing as a coach. Her techniques are fun, simple and gives amazing results. She accomodates specific requests for the sessions too. She also provides alternatives if a technique does not suit my values/style.

She does her homework for the sessions and is also prepared well when given headsup on specific area/ topic.

She also tracks and asks feedback.

She enables us to believe and trust ourselves and not depend on her post these sessions for the topics covered.

-Priya Mohan

I'm taking sessions with Namratha. Though I decided to work with a life coach I was skeptical about how it's going to change my life, but the major difference I'm feeling before the sessions and after a few sessions is, I'm completely accepting of myself now. I had many insecurities and a feeling of something is wrong with me, which came out in the first few sessions itself. Namratha helped me in seeing that, the flaws that I thought I had were really my strengths. She really saw me for who I am and doing the worksheets she had given me, I could see for myself that there's nothing wrong with me. And she was diligent in her work in guiding me to complete the worksheets. Half hearted, incomplete worksheets were not acceptable and she would make me do it again. I feel safe and accepted with her and I could completely open up, which is otherwise a bit difficult for me. She is kind, patient, understanding, non judgmental, supportive, intuitive and assertive when needed. She helped me in seeing where I'm disempowering myself during interactions with people. Overall, it was/is a great experience working with her and I would highly recommend her coaching service

Namratha is THE best coach I came across. Without her help I wouldn't have been where I am today. Her positivity is contagious. She can help anyone who's struggling with any aspect of their life. Thank you for everything Namratha.
